1. The content of ammonia is too high (C/N is less than 20): Use deodorant for disinfection and deodorization, and add substances with high carbon content such as: crop straw, peanut husk, rice husk, etc.

2. The pH value is too high: add acidic substances (calcium phosphate) to lower the pH value, and avoid the use of alkaline ingredients (lime).

3. Uneven ventilation or poor airflow: remix the material and change the formula.

4. The material stacking is too dense: re-mix the stack, and add large-grained materials as appropriate according to the material density.

5. Anaerobic environment: Turn the pile regularly to increase the oxygen content in the pile.

Mosquito breeding: There are mosquito breeding in the fermentation pile.

Possible reasons and solutions:

1. Raw materials are stacked for too long before fermentation: quickly process raw materials, spray probiotic deodorant on the surface to reduce odor and mosquitoes.

2. Fresh feces cover the surface of the heap to breed mosquitoes and flies: turn the heap every 4-7 days, and cover the surface of the static heap with a 6cm compost layer.

Material agglomeration: There are large parts of the fermentation material in the pile, and the structure is inconsistent.

Possible reasons and solutions:

1. Inhomogeneous mixing of raw materials or insufficient turning: improve the initial mixing method.

2. Uneven airflow or insufficient surround: Sorting or crushing compost to improve air distribution.

3. Raw materials contain bulky and non-degradable or very slow-degradable materials: sorting compost, crushing, and sorting raw materials.

4. The composting process is not over: extend the fermentation time or improve the fermentation conditions.
